He assures that he organized parties with up to 15 PSOE deputies and maintains that Torres and Pedro Martín knew the facts
SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The mediator Marcos Antonio Navarro Tacoronte, investigated in the alleged corrupt plot that operated from the Canary Islands to attract companies in the ZEC zone and block livestock inspections, stated this Friday that the former socialist deputy José Bernardo Fuentes Curbelo was the “visible head” of the network and he organized “parties” to which up to fifteen deputies from his group joined.
“Juanpe dictated the people who came, everything was studied, mechanized, they were dinners, breakfasts and lunches, there were also women deputies”, he pointed out in an interview with ‘Cope Canarias’ and collected by Europa Press.
Navarro Tacoronte has confessed to being “shocked” by all the facts that are included in the summary and admits that he has a “dirty conscience” because due to the plot, he has lost his entire family since he led a “double life”. “I will pay what I have to pay but at least let the truth come out,” he added.
In fact, he has stated that he left the court “destroyed” after being arrested and Fuentes Curbelo “comes out laughing” and with a clear conscience. “Either you have no conscience or you are not a father, I have nothing to hide anymore,” he explained.
He has indicated that he has always ‘worked’ for the PSOE and that is why there is no one from the CC or PP involved, emphasizing that “every night”, between Tuesdays and Thursdays – usual days of sessions in Congress – he went to brothels or they received prostitutes in hotels during 2021 and 2022, even in a pandemic. “It was like the end of the year party, with catering and photo catalogues,” he detailed.
He does not understand that Fuentes has a clear conscience and states that he “presumed socialism” and then ate seafood every day in Madrid.
Likewise, it has indicated that the expenses related to the plot that were made in Madrid “were payments from companies in Madrid” and the ranchers, really, “were few”, also emphasizing that it managed up to 70% of the funds, the The rest were cars, cigars or bank transfers. “I don’t know how much money passed through my hands, I don’t even want to think about it,” he stressed.
Navarro Tacoronte has remarked that an official from the Ministry of Agriculture was sent to a “dark room” because he was an “honest, honest and delighted with his work but he put his shirt where nobody called him”.
Along these lines, he has pointed out that he “touched files” that they did not want “to be touched” and does not understand how the Government of the Canary Islands ignores the ‘ostracism’ of the official given that the president, Ángel Víctor Torres, was informed of the efforts that the files were seized by “a mole” in the department, Tayshet Fuentes’ adviser.
“You have to count on the whole circus, the pope, the bishop and the friars, they knew it, I know why I say it,” he detailed, stressing that it makes no sense that Tayshet Fuentes was dismissed as general director of Livestock and later presented as candidate for Mayor of Antigua (Fuerteventura). “Where do we get lost?”, he has wondered.
“I WILL PAY WHAT I HAVE TO PAY BUT HERE I HAVE ARRIVED”
He has pointed out that “now” nobody knows him but he did not work only in Gran Canaria, but in Tenerife, with efforts for the Cabildo and the municipalities of Güímar and Arona, among others, putting on the table that without being a public position or official he sat next to the General Director of Livestock in his office. “I will pay what I have to pay but I have come this far, I carry many backpacks,” he pointed out.
He has insisted that he has not leaked anything about the case, but rather that everything is precipitated by a false complaint from the former Sports Director of the Cabildo de Tenerife and in his defense, they end up confiscating his mobile phones. “When he realizes that it’s me, he goes crying to remove it,” he pointed out, but Pedro Martín –president of the Cabildo– “was already informed.”
The mediator understands that “the worst informer is the mobile phone” and understands that “if the totorota is not wrong with the complaint”, the case would not have broken out.
He also does not understand that some businessmen continue to feel “cheated” when they signed million-dollar contracts or received subsidies and has made it clear that he is not going to “cover anything up.”
