Members of the Investigation and Analysis Group of the Traffic Sector of Canary Islands (GIAT)in collaboration with the Provincial Traffic Headquarters of Santa Cruz de Tenerifehave proceeded to identify a person during the theoretical exam to obtain a class B driving license by using means of communication during the test.
The events occurred at the end of January in the exam room of the Provincial Traffic Office of Santa Cruz de Tenerife during the theoretical exam to obtain a class B driving license, when one of the applicants raised suspicions. of the possibility of using help from abroad to carry out the test.
At the end of the examination, the necessary checks were carried out, verifying that this person used a communication system made up of an earpiece and a mobile phone hidden in their clothes.
Due to these facts, he was identified, turning out to be a 52-year-old man of Chinese nationality and residing in Spain, then the Provincial Traffic Headquarters of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has sanctioned him with a fine of 500 euros (a very serious offense), in addition to not being able to take the test in a period of six months.
