Canarian Coalition in Santiago del Teide demands the “urgent” improvement of the access street to the Tamaimo cemetery, a request that the nationalists already made in the September plenary session and to which the local government of the Popular Party has not yet responded.
The CC candidate for Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Fidel Montesdeoca, laments once again the “lack of foresight in the execution of municipal works.” “Not only are the execution deadlines constantly extended and breached, but with the lack of monitoring of the works, avoidable dangerous situations are generated,” Montesdeoca emphasizes. He also indicates that “the government group ignores the opposition proposals that are transferred by the affected residents, despite having requested it in September.”
The mayoral candidate affirms that the state of the access street to the Tamaimo cemetery is “unfortunate”. “This road, which was opened last year to carry out the necessary pipes for the new funeral home under construction, causes serious inconvenience to parents who use the road to drop off and pick up CEIP Tamaimo students,” he concludes.
