The Fiesta comes to an end, but it does so in a big way, with the Pinata of the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. There is only one weekend left to enjoy before we have to wait for 2024 to delight carnival fans again. A weekend that is expected to fill the streets of the capital of Tenerife.
The first of these activities will be children’s sewerwhich will start today, at 6:00 p.m., from the confluence between Numancia and Méndez Núñez streets, running to Villalba Hervás street and in which all the children’s groups of the Carnival will participate, as well as the award-winning costumes, children’s centers and the batucadas of schoolchildren from the Virgen del Mar and Bethencourt y Molina schools.
Starting at 11:30 p.m., the stages of Francisco La Roche, La Candelaria and El Príncipe will host the nightly dances, which will last until five in the morning. Thus, the popular Anaga avenue will present a lineup made up of the following artists: DJ Wes, Eazy Brain, Kidd Quetto, DJ Vikingo, Fabi Boss and Ubay Hdez.
In the Plaza del Príncipe, Tropicalia will take place, a multidisciplinary show that includes Laura Low, Sistah Vibes, Guacamayo Tropical, Tiraya, Candela, Parcero, Manatí and Frankawara.
Puerto Rican singer Edwin Rivera will perform on the Ron Barceló stage in Plaza de la Candelaria starting at midnight. DJ Nicky will participate in the same location, together with the Tropin and Gomera orchestras.
