The Meteorology Statal Agency planned for this weekend Carnival in Canary Islands a fresh timewith temperatures similar to those of the last few days, or even in slight decline and occasional rainfall, this after a day on Thursday in which up to more than seven liters per square meter in the northern midlands.

An area, that of the Gran Canaria summit, where the minimum temperatures also plummeted to 3 degrees Celsius, while at the highest levels of Tenerife they signed up 2 degrees below zero during the early hours of the morning.

This bad weather inside the northern slopes and higher levels of the islands, contrasted this Thursday with points such as The Village of San Nicoláswhere they were enjoyed in the early afternoon of 24 degrees centigrade, as well as Port of Moganwith 22 degrees Celsius shortly after noon.

With this situation in which the trade winds, Aemet forecasts a similar time for the next few hours. Thus one arrives at a Saturday that dawns with cloudy intervals to gradually close with evolution clouds in inside as well as in the slopes facing east during the afternoon. During the second half of the day, weak and occasional precipitations are not ruled out, most likely on the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canariawhere they could be somewhat more intense and persistent, according to the forecast of the state agency.

The temperatures minimums will remain unchanged or in slight decline in the easternmost islands, with a light wind in general, but from the west and breezes on the coasts.

Already for Sunday it is expected a little improvementwith less chance of rain, which would be occasional and weak in the north of the islands of greater relief, and in the interior in the afternoon and temperatures in light to moderate ascentespecially that of the maximum in the highest levels, while the wind will continue to blow from the west from weak to moderate.

The start of next week begins with a Monday with rising minimum temperatureswith low probability of rain and a light to moderate northeast wind, to give way to a Tuesday with intervals of clouds and probable light precipitation give the islands of greater relief, always according to the Aemet.
