The conditioning project will be carried out between kilometer points 9.46 and 28.67, which They go from El Bailadero to Las Mercedeslocated in the municipalities of Santa Cruz and from La Laguna.
The First Vice President and Island Councilor for Highways, Enrique Arriagaexplains that “the initiative will have a budget of 4,069,354 euros and contemplates the replacement of the road surface, the improvement of security systems and vehicle containment, as well as the replacement and improvement of horizontal and vertical signaling ”.
“With these jobs we will improve more than 19 kilometers of track and we will respond to the demands of the residents of areas such as Chamorga, Roque Negro or Afur, improving the service we provide to the population centers of the Biosphere Reserve in Anagabut always respecting its environmental value”, details the director.
The insular director of Highways, Tomás Félix García, points out that after “this approval of the contracting file and the list of administrative clauses, we put the project out to tender, to start work as soon as possible. These works will have an approximate execution period of 12 months.
