SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 18 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The CEO of Citizen Participation and Diversity of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Nauzet Gugliotta, has met with some twenty town councils on the island to gather their proposals for the LGTBIQA+ Island Strategic Framework that will define the island policies for attention to diversity of the Cabildo de for these next two years.
Gugliotta highlighted that some 150 proposals and actions from the attending municipalities have been collected, mostly attached to the Asterisk and Prisma networks, which are the services promoted by the Cabildo to channel attention to people and entities that assist LGTBIQA+ groups. in the north and south region of Tenerife.
With the same objective, a meeting has also been held in recent days with the associations and groups of the LGTBIQA+ Island Table, in which more than fifty proposals have been collected to also be evaluated for their inclusion in the document.
Both calls were organized in coordination with the LGBTI+ Diversas association and their purpose was to encourage the participation of institutions and entities in the preparation of this Island Framework, to gather the suggestions and needs of the respective territories and groups.
