The Tenerife tram will operate with minimum services of 90% and 75% during Carnival

He tenerife tramas a consequence of the scheduled strike, will operate during the Carnival with minimum services of 90% for the two Fridays, 17 and 24, and 75% for the rest of the days of the festivities: February 18, 19, 20, 21, 25 and 26. The planned stretches of strike will be approximately two hours in the morning and the same in the afternoon.

As reported by Metrotenerife, the tram will be operational during all these days of Carnival, although during these two partial stoppages per day scheduled by the strike committee the vehicles will circulate with their frequencies adapted to the indicated minimum services of 90% and 75%.

As usual for these holidays, Metrotenerife will put double-trams into service with frequencies every 10 minutes in the morning and running uninterruptedly during these next two weekends, as well as on Carnival Monday (20th), with intervals of 10, 12 and 15 minutes.

The full strike call for the Carnival period and with the partial strikes will be as follows: the 17th (Carnival Friday) will have a strike schedule from 07:55 to 09:15 and from 14:30 to 15:55, minimum services (hereinafter SS .MM.) of 90%; Day 18 (Carnival Saturday) will have a strike schedule from 10:05 to 11:25 and from 14:45 to 15:55, SS.MM. 75%; Day 19 (Sunday of Carnival) will have a strike schedule from 10.15 to 12.00, SS.MM. 75%; Day 20 (Carnival Monday) will have a strike schedule from 09:45 to 11:45 and 14:15 to 15:45, SS.MM. 75%; Day 21 (Carnival Tuesday) will have a strike schedule from 10:05 to 11:50, SS.MM. 75%; Day 24 (Piñata Friday) will have a strike schedule from 09:45 to 11:35 and 14:17 to 15:46, SS.MM. 90%; Day 25 (Saturday of Piñata) will have a strike schedule from 10.07 to 11.41 hours, SS.MM. 75%; and the 26th (Piñata Sunday) will have a strike schedule from 10:55 to 11:55 and 14:57 to 15:57, SS.MM. of 75%.

Metrotenerife will keep its customers informed through the screens at the stops and through its social networks. Likewise, it apologizes for the inconvenience and requests the understanding of all customers regarding the possible effects of the strike in the tram service.
