With the aim of continuing to grow and, above all, improving these figures for a qualitative leap, the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Town Hall has announced its intention to inject some 44 million into the tourism sector of the capital in the next six years, an investment that aims to resume the line that the city had set before the arrival of the COVID pandemic, and that seeks to be tourist capital of a tourist island. This amount includes actions aimed at the recovery of public spaces, other initiatives aimed at promoting the revitalization of the capital, and campaigns specifically aimed at the city’s tourism sector.
