The Salvar La Tejita Association has denounced the appearance of thousands of dead fish in the La Tejita beach. At least four different species have been identified and today, Monday, a report was submitted to the Network of Observers of the Marine Environment, as reported in a press release.
The association has indicated that just a few hundred meters away the construction of another complex, ‘Sotavento Suites’, is underway. Despite the fact that the association requested information about this project in June 2022, it assures that they have not yet received any information about the wastewater treatment proposed for this complex, nor have they received any proof that the license has been published in the BOE and in a newspaper (both are mandatory).
Salvar La Tejita has warned that it will not allow the coastline to become the “Mar Menor de Canary Islands” due to the mismanagement of the mayor and warns that he will take all legal measures to protect the coast.
