SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 11 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife has proceeded this Saturday morning to close the entrances to the Teide National Park due to the presence of ice sheets on the road.
This has been reported by the Island Corporation on its social networks, where it adds that citizens have all the information on the state of the island roads on the web https://cic.tenerife.es/e-Traffic3/Control?act=map
For its part, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has indicated that in Tenerife this Saturday there will be a predominance of cloudy skies during the first half of the day, mainly on the eastern, southern and western slopes, where occasional rainfall is expected that could be in form of locally strong showers until noon.
In addition, it is not ruled out that they may be accompanied by an isolated storm, while on Teide the precipitation will be in the form of snow.
Finally, in the afternoon it will tend to cloudy intervals in general, with a low probability of some rain in the northeast.
