SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 10 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The CC-PNC group in the Cabildo de Tenerife considers a “smoke screen” the alleged labor irregularities that the PSOE has denounced in the casinos of Tenerife before the Prosecutor’s Office in the period 2012-2019.
The nationalist formation recalls in a note that the boards of directors of the Casinos Playa de Las Américas, Casino Taoro and Casino Santa Cruz were made up of members of all political groups –CC, PSOE, PP, Sí Podemos Canarias– and not They authorized no operation.
“The very report that they have transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office dismisses the responsibility of the boards of directors of the three casinos, with which we are before another firework by Pedro Martín to divert attention,” they indicate.
CC-PNC points out that the hiring and dismissals were made by management and understands that it has always been done in accordance with current legislation.
In addition, he explains that the report on incentivized redundancies to which the PSOE alludes analyzes the period 2019 and 2020 “with Pedro Martín in charge of the casinos, that is, these practices that qualify as alleged irregularities have also occurred in his mandate.”
CC-PNC also indicates that “the report on incentivized redundancies indicates that the compensation was paid below the cost of the objective dismissal, in which case, it would mean savings for the casinos.”
For the nationalists “we are facing another smokescreen from the PSOE to distract attention, without going any further, yesterday the ‘Cranes case’ was filed because there was nothing, Pedro Martín is desperate because he does not want to talk about the million-dollar losses that The Cabildo has suffered due to its disastrous management”.
CC-PNC recalls that the Cabildo paid 2.3 million for the dismissal of the 72 Ansina and Cidemat workers “when according to the law it could have cost about 1,030,000 euros.”
Along these lines, they insist that “the PSOE paid more than double what was established for dismissing the professionals from Ansina and Cidemat, will they also take that to the Prosecutor’s Office? Are they going to denounce themselves for having spent more than double on kick out 72 people in the midst of a pandemic and leave the elderly in Tenerife without activities?
