The Council of Tenerife, through the Autonomous Organization of Museums, has opened the period to register for the Open for Holidays workshop of the Museum of Nature and Archeology (MUNA). This camp will take place during the week of Carnivalon February 20, 22, 23 and 24, and will be aimed at children between 4 and 12 years of age.
The Island Councilor for Museums, Concepción Rivero, assured that with these workshops “participants will learn about nature, science and art, focusing on the importance of caring for the environment.” She stressed that in addition to the permanent activities of the Museum, the children will know in detail each of the areas that make up the temporary exhibition. On the other hand, Rivero explained that The camp hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., but a stay service will be enabled from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to better adapt to the needs of each family. Registration may be made for single days, being the amount of 20 euros per day and participant and 18 euros in the case of large families. While the dining service will cost 9 euros per day.
