Hugothe young man from El Sobradillo who on July 13 was quadriplegic after suffering an accident in the Puertito de Güímar, has achieved the adapted housing that he needed given his circumstances after his mother, Jennifer, took up her fight.
This has been confirmed to DIARIO DE AVISOS by the social activist Lolo Dorta, who has a long history in this type of mobilization both for his neighborhood struggle and for his participation in the Camping for Decent Housing.
“Hugo’s mother has signed the rental contract for a home” after holding a meeting this Wednesday in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with the director of the Canarian Housing Institute. “On behalf of Jennifer and her family, as well as the groups that expressed their solidarity with the fight, we want to thank you,” she adds.
