SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 5 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The calendar of commercial campaigns on the island of La Gomera begins this Monday on the occasion of Valentine’s Day and will run until February 14, with which it is intended to encourage local and proximity consumption in several days, inviting the population to enjoy a special day of shopping for this designated date.

The campaign contemplates that people who consume in local businesses will be able to receive and redeem direct gifts and surprise experiences while supplies last. In order to participate, it will be a requirement to make a purchase for an amount equal to or greater than 50 euros in the businesses on the island that have joined the campaign. The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, February 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., simultaneously at the facilities of the Delegation of the Chamber of Commerce of La Gomera and at the House of Culture of the municipality of Valle Gran King.

In parallel, on Friday, February 10, with the aim of promoting and making the activity of the businesses visible, there will be live radio interviews and the broadcast of radio spots aimed at learning about the quality of the products and services offered by in establishments on the island.

That same day, commercial revitalization activities will take place in the streets of the San Sebastián Open Commercial Zone, with a parade of children’s characters, accompanied by batucada and performances by DJs.

The calendar of revitalization campaigns for 2023 for the commercial sector is a program made up of a dozen promotional actions that the Island Institution will carry out this year, in collaboration with Cajasiete, the Chamber of Commerce of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the Association of Entrepreneurs and Merchants of La Gomera, with the aim of encouraging purchases in local commerce, while rewarding customers who opt for establishments on the island.
