SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 4 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 60-year-old man has been seriously injured when he was run over on the La Cuesta-Taco highway, in the municipality of La Laguna, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred after half past five in the afternoon, when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert reporting the run-over of a man at the aforementioned address.
On behalf of Cecoes, a medical ambulance and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and agents from the La Laguna Local Police were activated.
Once at the scene, the SUC personnel provided initial assistance to the affected person and after stabilizing him proceeded to transfer him to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias due to severe head trauma.
