SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 3 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Minister of Justice of the Government of the Canary Islands, Julio Pérez, has advanced this Friday in the Parliament of the Canary Islands that the ‘Auditorio’ building, acquired by the autonomous community from the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, will house twenty courts that are scattered for the capital.
In response to a question from the Socialist Group in parliamentary commission, he has described the past, present and future of the process followed to build the great city of justice, a space destined to complete the current facilities, which will be located behind the El Corte shopping center English and that has forced a change in the planning of that area and the presentation of a new one.
The counselor has shown his hope that this project will become a reality after the work carried out throughout this mandate, collects a note from his department.
Pérez recalled that justice is not only spaces, but they are essential, because if they are not adequate, you cannot grow.
In this sense, he has alluded to the difficulties that exist in Santa Cruz de Tenerife to install new courts, once approved by the Ministry of Justice, quite the opposite of what happens in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which does have extensive facilities.
