SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 2 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Investigating Court Number 2 of Arona, in Tenerife, has decreed the freedom, with the precautionary measures of prohibition to leave the island of Tenerife and to appear apud minutes weekly, for the accused of sexually assaulting a woman on January 30 on Las Américas beach, according to sources from the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC).
The Court has adopted this decision after the man has invoked his right not to testify for being investigated for a crime of sexual assault.
The DNA results are currently awaiting, while it has been reported that Arona Investigating Court Number 2 will be inhibited in favor of Arona Instruction Number 1, which is the one that was on duty on January 30 .
