‘Poissonsexe’, first screening of 2023 at the Círculo de Amistad XII de Enero
On this occasion, it is a suspense film inspired by the Franco-Belgian comic of the same name, not recommended for children under 12 years of age, filmed in 2017, 90 minutes long, and with a script and direction by David Moreau. The cast is made up of: Sofia Lesaffre, Stéphane Bak, Thomas Doret, Jean-Stan Du Pac, Paul Scarfoglio and Kim Lockhart.
Produced by Studiocanal, critics talk about it as a film that tells the story of 16-year-old Leïla, who wakes up one morning and doesn’t find her parents. She then cycles through her neighborhood, finding it totally empty.
When the protagonist already thought she was the only survivor of an inexplicable catastrophe, she meets four other young people: Dodji, Yvan, Camille and Terry. Together they will try to understand what has happened and learn to survive in a world that has turned hostile. As the story progresses, the viewer wonders if the characters are really alone.
As usual in this French film series, the film will be shown in its original version subtitled in Spanish. For the organization of this activity, El Recreo has the support of the French Alliance of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the Institut Français Cinema, product of the agreement between the French entity and Santa Cruz.
