Fight between taxi drivers in La Laguna, Tenerife: “I’ll take you and scratch your head”

two taxi drivers San Cristobal de La Laguna They got involved this Saturday morning, around 12:30 p.m., in a fight in which, after insulting each other out loud, they came to blows. Both taxi professionals were with their vehicles parked at the stop on Avenida de la Trinidad.

According to several witnesses, the two drivers began to argue until they got out of their vehicles to continue the dispute and the insults in the middle of the street, even interrupting the traffic that was circulating in the area.

The altercation was so big that several people began to videotape the fight. In these images, the two men can be seen grabbing and struggling while threatening each other. One of them goes as far as to say to the other: “I’ll take you and blow your head” and “I’ll take you and blow you up, clown”, is heard in the audio of one of the videos broadcast on social networks and through instant messaging.

It is studied to withdraw the licenses

The City Council of La Laguna, before these very serious events carried out by the two taxi drivers on public roads and during his service hours, he shows his total rejection of images that cannot be tolerated. The Corporation already is studying the appropriate measures, including the withdrawal of the licenseto prevent behavior of this type from occurring again in a public service that has always been characterized by its professionalism.
