The American singer of Puerto Rican descent Elvis Crespo surprised yesterday, Friday, with a publication on his social networks in which he assured that on Saturday, February 25, he would not perform at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Day Carnival 2023.
“I will not be performing at the Carnival of Tenerife on February 25, they are announcing me as closing and that is not correct”, has written the author of mythical songs such as “Suavemente” or “Píntame”, among others.
Everything seemed to indicate that there were no doubts about the presence of the artists who could be seen on the street during the Chicharrero Day Carnival, with Óscar de León, La India and Elvis Crespo himself at the helm. However, the latter, with his publication, has distanced himself from the poster.
Where Elvis Crespo will be is on the opposite island, specifically in the carnivals of the municipality of Gáldar, which will be held from February 10 to 15.
