SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 26 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, will soon travel to America, specifically between February 4 and 12, to visit the countries of Cuba and Venezuela, thus complying with the tradition of other Canarian presidents.
This has been advanced to the media by the spokesman for the Executive, Julio Pérez, who added that Torres, while waiting to close his agenda, plans to visit the colony of the Canaries in both countries and hold various political, economic and institutional.
While the trip lasts, the presidency on the islands will be exercised by the vice president and Minister of Finance, Román Rodríguez, the spokesman has detailed.
Pérez has also said that there is still no date for the official trip to Morocco because first we have to wait for the high-level summit between Spain and Morocco to be held next week.
“Afterwards we will be able to specify dates, measures, agenda and companions, what matters is that the high-level meeting goes well”, he commented.
