SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 27 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 21-year-old girl has been moderately injured when she suffered a fall from a height of about 10 meters down a slope while walking her dog on the Taco mountain, in the municipality of La Laguna (Tenerife), as reported the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred on the afternoon of this Thursday in the aforementioned place, to where firefighters from Tenerife and the team from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) managed to get to where the affected person had fallen, providing first aid and preparing her air evacuation in the helicopter of the Regional Government’s Emergency and Rescue Group (GES), which traveled to the area due to the impossibility of evacuating the affected person by land.
The woman presented moderate chest trauma, for which she was evacuated by the GES helicopter and transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital.
Local Police officers who collaborated with emergency resources also appeared at the scene of the incident.
