Arico collaborates in the design of three tourist experiences based on three gastrotourism routes that will stand out for their environmental, gastronomic and sports value in the municipality. The announced purpose is to convene the main local tourist agents in an event so that they make the contributions they consider in order to promote Arico as a destination. All this, in collaboration with the Canarian company Senda Ecoway.
It is the immediate result of the Arico’s first presence at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur)from which The municipal delegation is “very satisfied with the ideas and conclusions obtained”.
The mayor, Sebastián Martín, pointed out that they were days of “intense meetings with different promoters and interesting agents to publicize the great virtues of the municipality in the field of gastronomy, landscapes and the great effort that fishermen make every day, farmers, ranchers, honey producers… We represent all these people with great pride because they are the ones who make all our high-quality products a reality,” added the councilor.
The Councilor for Local Development and Tourism, Víctor García, explained that “it has been a historic step and one to feel proud of. It is the first time that Arico participates in Fitur”. The mayor highlighted the virtues of a municipality “relatively small in terms of national territory, but which has so much gastronomic variety and great potential in active tourism”.
