The French television star and vedet, Marlene Morreau, announced last Saturday night, during the interview she gave to the Telecinco program, Sábado Deluxe, that she will be back on the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife by the hand of the comparsa Los Joroperos. The artist already participated in 2019 with the lagoon dance formation, performing one of the group’s choreographies in the middle of the street.

The director of Joroperos, Fernando Hernández, confirmed to the digital publication Grupo Enmascarada Carnaval, that the French vedet will be participating with the comparsa in the announcing parade on February 17, thus repeating its appearance in 2019.

Before, next Saturday, January 28, the troupe will present their fantasy, by the designer Borja Abreu, at the Leal Theater of La Lagunain an important year, as it celebrates its 50th anniversary.

In 2019, the French vedet, model, actress and presenter, who also participated as a jury in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival Queen Gala, did not want to miss the street party. Mourreau led the parade of Los Joroperos living it intensely.

The Laguna comparsa adopted the French one as one more and the artist returned the gesture with joy, enthusiasm and carnival devotion. The public, which crowded both sides of the tour, gave her the affection that she deserved from her for the way she blended in with her at a party in which she, at that time, pointed out that she would repeat without any type of of doubt. “I’m in a cloud”, she told some wireless people who were covering live the start of the Carnival in the street.
