The murga of Gran Canaria Los Nietos de Sarymanchez presents his fantasy for the first time in Tenerife. The murga, which in recent years has remained among the award-winning performers in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, will offer its own show at the Cine Víctor starting at 8:00 p.m.

The prestigious Casals Quartet, winner of the 2006 National Music Award and one of the most interesting and prestigious Spanish chamber ensembles on the international scene, joins the 39 Canary Islands Music Festival. The ensemble will offer a tour of unique settings on five islands, with a daily concert, from Thursday 19 to Monday 23 January, and with a repertoire that ranges from classicism, romanticism and the avant-garde: Haydn, Schubert and Shostakovich.
bamberg symphony
In a particularly intense week, he joins the 39 International Music Festival of the Canary Islands the Bamberg Symphony, an orchestra recognized worldwide for its characteristic deep, round and dazzling sound. It returns to Tenerife and Gran Canaria under the baton of its director, the Czech maestro Jakub Hrůša and in the company of a fascinating violinist: Patricia Kopatchinskaja. On this occasion they will perform works by Beethoven, Stravisky and Dvorak.
The concerts will be this Saturday 21 January at the Auditorium of Tenerife, at 8:00 p.m. sponsored by the DISA Foundation. An hour before the start there will be a introductory talk in an adjoining room, by the music promoter Ricardo Ducatenzeiler (7:00 p.m. in Tenerife).
