In this festival, people gather together with their animals on the beach of La Enramada and remember how important it is to share in peace on a day that is also configured as one of the most significant in the cultural calendar, not only for adejebut from Tenerife, being one of the most ancient.
The Fiesta de San Sebastián is one of the celebrations that gathers the most people each year, both from the South and from the rest of the Island, and one of the oldest, since it has existed for more than five centuries.
The celebration took place in the area of La Enramada, where the participants came accompanied by their animals. Numerous horses, camels, sheep, donkeys, dogs, goats and birds moved to the place. The people responsible for these animals complied with the established protocol and registered in the pet registry set up by the Consistory.
