The Canarian Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH)an autonomous body attached to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islandsreports that next week it can be donated in Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Lanzaroteboth in the mobile points and in the fixed points of the Canary Transfusion Network distributed throughout the islands.
The ICHH reiterates the call to donate blood since, at this time, the stocks of blood products are at low levels.
All blood groups are necessary, especially groups A and O positive, which are the most common in the Canarian population and, therefore, the most requested in healthcare.
Departures next weekend in Gran Canaria and Tenerife
In Gran Canaria you can donate tomorrow, Saturday, January 21, at CC Alcampo from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Also on Sunday 22 in the mobile unit that will be installed in the Mercadillo de la Vega de San Mateo from 9:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
As for Tenerife, on Saturday an extraction point will be operational in the Plaza de la Catedral, on Obispo Rey Redondo street in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, from 9:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and from 4:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. hours.
