SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 17 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The National Police have arrested a 34-year-old man from Tenerife as the alleged perpetrator of four robberies in establishments in La Laguna that generated a great sense of insecurity in the area.
This man was acting alone, details the National Police in a note, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and entering the premises in broad daylight brandishing a large knife with which he intimidated the employees to seize the money from the cash registers. .
In total, more than 600 euros were made in the robbery of two bazaars and two pharmacies, whose owners denounced the facts, bringing them to the attention of the National Police.
The man had been recorded by security cameras and later identified by the victims, and it turned out to be a criminal with a record for similar events, which allowed his location and arrest a few days later.
Given the idiosyncrasies of the events, an entry and search was carried out at his home, in which a motorcycle that had been reported stolen a few days before the robberies was discovered, as well as a forced tobacco machine, related to another robbery with force in a cafeteria in La Laguna, who came to report three robberies between the months of September and October, in which he allegedly participated.
