The finding a strange animal in a water channel of a Bajamar ravine, in the Tenerife municipality of The lagoon It has sparked the debate on social networks about what it can be. Is about a kind of larva or worm of a certain size which was found by the biologist Víctor de León who, after recording a video with the strange specimen in question, asked through his Twitter account @BiodiverSiTal if anyone knew what animal it could be.
He claimed that he came across this rare animal in a small water channel of a Bajamar ravine, specifically in an area of stagnant water that he found after removing a cactus.
There have been many collaborators and experts who have rushed to comment on the biologist’s tweet, providing different answers.
Víctor himself began by deciding that the “bug” could be a type of insect larva, although he doubts it due to its large size. He, however, points out that it could be a dragonfly larva, but he still does not have all of them with him.
Another Twitter user, marine biologist @lt_serg points out that it could be a “rat tail larva, of syrphids”.
If anyone knows what it is about, you can write your contributions in the comments of this information or transfer them to Víctor de León himself on his Twitter account.
