The Chamber of Commerce and the Cabildo execute the Tourism Competitiveness and Innovation program to subsidize companies and freelancers in the sector with 7,000 euros. The objective is to increase competitiveness through Tenerife technology providers. The application period is open until next Monday the 16th. The beneficiaries will undergo a diagnosis to determine the innovation actions to be carried out from a list of forty included on the program’s website.
The president of the Provincial Chamber of Commerce, Santiago Sesé, values: “This initiative allows companies to be given a boost in terms of competitiveness and innovation, something especially attractive for SMEs.” The figures show it: 85% of the participants are small companies with less than 10 workers. The benefit is not only economic co-financing, but also a database where to select solution providers.
The Councilor for Foreign Action of the Cabildo, Liskel Álvarez, stressed that “this call will benefit companies that depend directly and indirectly on the tourism sector.”
This is the fourth edition of an initiative that in the previous three distributed 280,000 euros among forty beneficiaries.
