The dance of magicians will give the starting signal to the popular acts of the Patron Saint Festivities in Honor of San Antonio Abad. It will be tomorrow, starting at 9:00 p.m., in the Plaza del Santísimo Cristo de la Salud, in Arona Casco. The festivities officially begin this afternoon with the hoisting of the Arona flag, in the historic Cruz de San Antonio.
There will be 32 tables where all the people who want to enjoy a night of tradition will be able to share the typical dishes of our rich gastronomy, washed down with a good glass of Canarian wine. And all this, animated by the different municipal folkloric groups and also guests. Of course, it is essential to wear the traditional costume and for the tables it is not necessary to reserve in advance.
The magician’s dance comes after the first official act of the festivities, the hoisting of the Arona flag, which will take place today, at 12:00 noon, in the historic Cruz de San Antonio.
