The Civil Guard investigates a young man for robbing two bars in Tenerife and robbing another man at knifepoint



Agents of the Civil Guard, belonging to the Main Post of Isora Guide (Tenerife), have conducted proceedings in which they are investigating a 29-year-old man, a resident of San Isidro (Granadilla), as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation and four crimes of robbery with force in catering establishments, two of them attempted.

Three of the criminal acts of which the person being investigated is accused were committed during the same night, in restaurants that were closed at that time and in which the alleged perpetrator tried to gain access by force, fracturing their access doors, obtaining steal from one of the premises a total of 1,400 euros in cash and three PDA terminals.

Another of the robberies perpetrated by the same defendant was committed in a restaurant, in which he stole the cash register with the cash that was inside, as well as a high-end brand tablet.

The crime of robbery with violence and intimidation was committed on January 7 when he assaulted his victim, a 55-year-old man, when he was walking down a public road and threatening her with a knife while saying “give me what have it or I’ll cut you” in order to get him to hand over the cash that he had among his belongings, as well as the keys to his vehicle.

Thanks to the investigations carried out by the Civil Guard agents, they have managed to gather sufficient indications and evidence that have made it possible to identify, locate and investigate the alleged perpetrator of at least five crimes against property.

The proceedings initiated have been forwarded to the Investigating Court of Arona.
