The National Police have arrested two men, natives of Venezuela and Italy, who stole cash, cards and documentation in a hotel complex in the south of Tenerife.
The investigation began with a complaint from the users of one of the hotel rooms, who during their stay noticed the disappearance of various objects they owned.
Faced with this circumstance, they filed a complaint stating at the police station that when they returned to the hotel room their bags were at the door of the room but without several of their personal belongings, among which were also their bank cards.
As a result of what happened, the agents of the investigation group began proceedings to clarify the facts, obtaining, after viewing images of the places where said cards had been operated, the identification of the two detainees.
The men, in addition to having appropriated more than 500 euros in cash, documentation and various personal effects, had made charges on the stolen cards for an amount of 628 euros.
With the data of these two men, the National Police was able to recognize them on public roads and transfer them to police stations where they were made available to the competent judicial authority and the expulsion file for one of the detainees who was in an irregular situation was initiated. .
