SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 10 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The 44-year-old man of Moroccan origin arrested this Monday as the alleged perpetrator of the murder of his ex-partner, 46, on Sunday night, will go to court this Wednesday from 09:00 a.m., Civil Guard sources report to Europa Press.
The events occurred last Sunday night at his home, in the Armeñime neighborhood, in the municipality of Adeje, when the man stabbed his ex-partner to death in front of their four children, two of them from a previous relationship.
One of them was even slightly injured while trying to defend his mother from the attack.
Hayate, also of Moroccan origin, ended up dying on the street sidewalk after asking for help and the alleged murderer was held by a neighbor until the arrival of the Local Police, who arrested him.
The man had been released days ago after being arrested on December 28 for coercion towards his ex-ex-girlfriend, but the victim did not then file a complaint against him in court and he went from being classified in the Viogén System with a high rating to another medium of special relevance.
This medium level implies that direct contact with the victim is maintained, without other measures such as a restraining order.
