SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 9 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Adeje City Council has convened this Monday, at 12:00 p.m. and on the facade of the town hall, a minute of silence as a sign of rejection against the sexist murder of a woman that occurred on Sunday night in her home in the neighborhood of Armeñime.
The mayor, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, has said that it is a “sad and unfortunate event” that, when it occurs in the municipality, “is even more painful, if possible.”
Hayate, 46, has allegedly been murdered at the hands of her ex-partner, of North African origin, and in the middle of the attack, one of her sons was also injured while trying to defend her mother.
