Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar did not forget to stop by number 189 on the Boquerón highway, in Valle Guerra, on January 5, where the the most Christmas house in the Canary Islands.

The Three Wise Men did not want to miss the spectacular decoration that Lorenzo Barroso has prepared, as he has been doing for the last 25 years, so that anyone who wants to can come and admire their home.

In 1995, this family began to decorate their house in a special way. “Over the years, word began to spread until it became what it is today: a true tradition,” Lorenzo told this newspaper, who maintains the tradition of his father, who recently passed away. His illusion was to make, with his own hands, because everything is handmade, the most Christmas-like house in the Canary Islands.

The figures, taking into account that the house is just over a hundred square meters, are overwhelming: more than 25,000 light bulbs, in addition to those two nutcrackers of more than two meters, a Santa Claus of almost two meters and an infinity of decorations of all kinds. : “The house is not only striking at night, due to the lights, but also during the day.” Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar can now attest to this.
