“It has been impressive, so many queues for the Christmas raffle,” says José Ángel González, manager of what has been called the Estación de la Suerte for years. He acknowledges that sales have gone very well, although he admits that many have come to exchange prize-winning Christmas tenths for another for the Child, whose raffle is held this noon, when the Three Kings’ gifts are still being savored.

La Chasnera on January 6, 2002 brought again a lot of luck and a lot of moneydistributing the second prizeendowed with 75,000 euros per tenth, and the third prizewith 25,000 euros each tenth.

The winning numbers were 44,469 and 19,467, which are added to the fourth and fifth prizes that were also distributed two weeks earlier in the Christmas Lottery Draw. In 2018, he not only gave eight tenths of the Gordo de Navidad but also distributed three tenths of the second prize in the El Niño raffle.

The El Niño Extraordinary Draw, which will last just half an hour, will be held this Friday (11 am in the Canary Islands) in the State Lotteries and Betting drawing room, in Madrid, and will distribute 700 million euros in prizes, with a first of two million euros per series (200,000 euros per tenth).

The second prize in this draw is endowed with 750,000 euros (75,000 to the tenth) and the third with 250,000 euros (25,000 to the tenth).

According to the data provided by Selae, and in the absence of definitive figures, it is estimated that each Spaniard will play on average 16.71 euros in this draw, a figure lower than that of this year, which was 17.50 euros per inhabitant. In the Canary Islands, as is usual in the lottery, the average drops to 12.75 euros for each canary. In total, a total of 27.69 million euros has been consigned on the islands, almost a third of what was consigned this year in the Christmas Lottery.

The number zero has been the favorite finish for the first prize in the history of this El Niño draw and has come out 22 times, followed by 7 (14 times), 4 and 5 (12 in each case) and 2 ( in eleven draws). However, the number 3 has only been graced in six years.

11 times it fell in the Canary Islands

El Niño has been seen by the Archipelago a total of 11 times, exactly the same as the Gordo de Navidad, counting the last draw. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on 5 occasions, is the most graceful city
