SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 5 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The National Police has arrested a woman in the south of Tenerife for a scam whose total amount amounts to 4,650 euros.
The investigation began as a result of a complaint from a citizen who intended to rent a property on the island and the alleged culprit contacted her offering her various homes that might be of interest to her until an affirmative response was obtained.
Immediately afterwards, to carry out the lease, the detainee requested the payment by transfer of cash as a deposit and current months, disappearing immediately after once the money was obtained.
For this reason, the victim of this scam filed a complaint that gave rise to the appropriate investigations by the National Police and which led to the identification and subsequent prosecution.
