The current hydrological year, which began on October 1, 2022, is currently very dry, with an accumulated precipitation of 61.4 millimeters, which corresponds to 44% of the expected value.

In the Las Palmas province the total precipitation is 30.5 millimeters, the seventh worst value since 1961, and in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 98.5 millimeters, the eleventh driest in the historical series.
