The National Police has established a special security device before the celebration of the Three Kings Parade in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on January 5, given these circumstances and given the influx of people on public roads to attend the event.
Said device will be established from 09:00 a.m. on the day of the Three Kings Parade in Santa Cruz until 06:00 a.m. on January 6. The realization of the same will be marked by the distinction of several areas in the capital of Tenerife: shopping areas, leisure areas, Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium and its surroundings, all in order to give a specialized response from the National Police according to security requirements. that should be addressed for a correct achievement of the event.
For this, the patrolling of the units in regular service and that carry out their work in the Citizen Service Group (GAC) will be increased, in support of the specialized units involved in this event: Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR), Unit of Police Intervention (UIP), Provincial Information Brigade (BPI), in collaboration with the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Taking advantage of the occasion, the National Police would like to remind you of a series of security tips for large events, such as trying to carry essential personal belongings and not withdrawing money in the vicinity of areas with a large influx of people.
It also advises not to park in the outskirts of the areas with the greatest presence of people to reduce the risk of material damage to the vehicles, and when finished, leave in stages to avoid crowds. If any altercation is observed or in the event of any problem, it is recommended to get away from it and notify the National Police.
