SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 3 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canarian Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH), an autonomous body dependent on the Ministry of Health, promotes blood donation during this week in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, in Tenerife, with different extraction points distributed throughout the city.
Today Tuesday and tomorrow Wednesday it will be possible to donate in Tejina, on the Tejina-Tacoronte main road, nº5, from 10:15 to 13:30 and from 17:15 to 20:30. On Thursday the 5th, the hours at this point will be from 10:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
You can also donate in the Plaza de la Catedral, on Calle Obispo Rey Redondo, in Plaza de Los Remedios, today Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday the 5th, the ICHH mobile unit will move to Los Majuelos, specifically, to Avenida El Paso, where it will be operational tomorrow Wednesday from 09:45 to 14:00 and from 16:45 to 21:00 and Thursday from 09:45 to 14:00.
From January 5 to 11, another ICHH unit will be installed in the El Tranvía La Cuesta Multifunctional Space. On the 5th, the hours will be from 09:45 to 14:00, and until January 11, donors will be attended from 09:45 to 14:00 and from 16:45 to 21:00. On the last day of activity, the extraction room will close at 8:30 p.m.
To donate blood you can go directly or request an appointment by calling 012 or 922 470 012 (option 8), Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or by filling in the form published on the front page of the efectodonacion.com website.

The ICHH also recalls that people vaccinated against COVID-19, both with one and two doses and the booster dose, can donate blood 48 hours after inoculation.
