Until midnight on Thursday, the 5th, the insular craft fairs promoted by the Cabildo de Tenerife on the occasion of the Three Kings festivity, through the Economic Development area. They are carried out in the Metropolitan area.
The Plaza del Príncipe, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, hosts the 25th edition of the Three Kings Crafts Fair, while the Christmas Crafts Market, in La Laguna, celebrates its 14th edition in the Plaza del Adelantado. In both cases, the hours in which they will remain open until Thursday are established from eleven in the morning to ten at night, with a “small interval of one hour” (from two to three in the afternoon), in which the exhibition and sale stalls will remain closed. As usual, these craft fairs will extend their hours of activity on the eve of the Three Kings festivity, so that they will remain open until midnight.
The Cabildo de Tenerife, the administration that promotes these markets, points out that both the Kings Crafts Fair and the Christmas Crafts Market in La Laguna “professionals with craftsmen’s cards participate.” They have been selected “according to the criteria established in the call launched by the Cabildo last August.” The island government highlights that, in this way, “priority is given to artisans who have registered as self-employed, have their own brand or have a website”, following the established requirements.

It should be remembered that Santa Cruz also brings together more than 400 artisans in the open markets this Christmas. The one located in the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena is added to the one of the Association of Artisans of Santa Cruz, the Art Market, with 35 stalls of creators in different disciplines in the Isla de la Madera square, until tomorrow, as well as the Dreamer Market, open in the Plaza de la Iglesia de la Concepción, a commercial space of 45 tents with active hours between 11:00 and 21:00 and which, in addition, will have entertainment and activities aimed at children.
Within this framework, the Santa Cruz flea market stands out because it was operational on both December 25 and January 1. For this week it is announced that on the eve of Three Kings it will remain open until three in the morning.
