ARRECIFE (LANZAROTE), 1 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –
In the early hours of this Sunday morning, between 01 and 04:00, Maritime Rescue personnel have rescued two small boats with 81 migrants on board that were sailing in waters close to Lanzarote, reports from 112 Canarias.
The migrants from these boats, the first of the year in the archipelago, have been referred to the Arrecife pier to receive health care by members of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and the Red Cross and none have been referred to a health center at Present a good general condition.
In addition, several migrants who left the West African coast aboard two canoes have been missing for a few days.
