SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 30 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Firefighters from Tenerife and rescuers from the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) have rescued this Friday two paragliders who had suffered a fall on the coast of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, reports from 112 Canarias.
One of them fell on the slope of Las Gaviotas beach but without incident — the firefighters helped him rescue the material and moved it to the road — and the other, a 36-year-old Frenchman, ended up in the Antequera area.
The man was rescued by helicopter and transferred to the La Guancha helipad, where SUC personnel treated him for pain in his foot that did not require transfer to a health center.
