SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 30 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Cabildo de Tenerife will open this Monday the traditional craft markets in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna, in which a total of 68 masters from about twenty trades will participate, who will exhibit their products until Thursday night, January 5 .

In the Plaza del Príncipe in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the ‘Kings Crafts Fair’ will take place, which this year celebrates its twenty-fifth edition with a total of 40 craftsmen and in the case of La Laguna, the Christmas Crafts Market will celebrate its fourteenth edition in the Plaza del Adelantado, where 28 artisans will meet.

The Minister of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso, will visit the two spaces on Monday, accompanied by the mayors of both municipalities, to see first-hand the quality and variety of home-made products that can be purchased there.

The list of professionals who will participate in both shows covers more than twenty artisan trades related to jewelry, recycling materials, decorating fabrics, traditional pottery, doll making, weaving, printing and engravings, paper and cardboard, candle making, inlaid work, soap making, leather goods, clothing making, cutlery, patchwork, macramé, fretwork, stained glass, carpentry, basketry and artificial flowers and the making of traditional costumes , Pick up a note from the Cabildo.

All of them have a valid artisan card and have been selected according to the criteria established in the call launched by the Cabildo last August, with which priority is given to artisans who have registered as self-employed, have their own brand or have a website, among other requirements.

The hours of the two fairs, which will remain open until the night of January 5, will be from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a small interval of one hour, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., in which the stalls will remain closed.

In addition, the night before the Three Kings the hours will be extended until 00:00.
