The Arona Town Hall will celebrate in style the farewell to 2022 and the welcome to 2023 with the ‘Great New Year’s Eve Party‘, which returns after two years of hiatus and which will be held this Saturday in the surroundings of the Cultural Center of Los Cristianos.
The consistory has prepared, through the Department of Fiestas directed by the mayor Raquel García, an extensive program of performances in two stages with different environments, which will start at 10:00 p.m. and end around 5:30 p.m.
The musical performances on the stage located in the Plaza del Pescador will be led by renowned Canarian orchestras, starting with the Wamampy at 10:00 p.m. After the relevant break for the chimes, which will be broadcast on a screen located on the balcony of the Cultural Center and will have a bilingual presenter, the music will continue with the Tropin Latin Music and Los Ideales orchestras.
The other stage will be ‘Dj area’. It will be located on Valle Menéndez street, in front of the Local Police, and will feature sessions by DJ David Pérez (before the chimes), DJ Quique Serra, DJ Joan Roca and DJ Pablo Barrios.
Prior to the New Year’s Eve bells, party favors will be distributed to attendees and at 00:00 fireworks will be launched from the terraces of the cultural center.
Both the mayor, José Julián Mena, and the Councilor for Fiestas Raquel García, point out the recovery “of a celebration where thousands of neighbors and tourists gather to say goodbye to the year and welcome 2023 in the best possible atmosphere.”
