Outdoor municipal facilities with an influx of public will remain closed, be they sports, cultural, educational, and any other leisure and recreation, including the two markets that remained open in the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena and the Spain Square.
With the activation of the Municipal Emergency Plan (PEMU) all municipal services are on alert to resolve incidents that may occur.
The City Council calls on the population to avoid unnecessary travel and exposure to risk situations, since the rains could cause problems and floods of water and affect both elements of street furniture and public and private infrastructure.
The passage of the first rainy front has produced a dozen incidents in the municipality, none serious.
The most notable is a small landslide on the road at Roque de Las Bodegas, Taganana (TF-134) that has disabled a traffic lane.
Other problems have arisen at three traffic light intersections in the city, both in the Ramblas de Santa Cruz area and Venezuela avenue and around Benito Pérez Armas, which have already been resolved.
