The Tenerife Children’s and Youth Parkpopularly known as the PIThas reopened its doors in the Fairgrounds One more Christmas after two years without being celebrated due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it comes with 35 different play areas, which combine playful, physical and educational activities for girls and boys and their families.

The Park covers a total of 18,000 square meters dedicated to all kinds of activities, including an ice rink, mechanical attractions for the little ones, climbing and an area dedicated to the practice of various sports, such as basketball. , ping-pong or minigolf.

There is also space for various training and educational workshops to raise awareness of the importance of caring for the environment and getting to know the environment that surrounds us, as well as live performances in the theater set up at the entrance.

Schedule: the doors of the PIT will be open until Thursday, January 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with some special hours that can be consulted on the Fairgrounds website.

Price: the entrance has a general cost of 9 euros and with it the visitor will be able to enjoy all the activities as many times as he wants. Children under 3 years of age, over 65 years of age and people with a disability certificate will be able to access for free, while for large families a reduced price of 6 euros has been agreed upon.

The inauguration this Thursday was attended by the president of the Island Council, Pedro Martín, and the Minister of Employment, Socioeconomic Development, Employment and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso, among other authorities.
