SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –

Titsa and Metrotenerife, public transport companies of the Cabildo de Tenerife, change their schedules during the Christmas Eve and Christmas weekend.

In the case of the bus companies, on Saturday 24 the services will end between 6:10 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. depending on the line, while the trams will run until 8:30 p.m.

The insular Councilor for Mobility and president of Titsa and Metrotenerife, Enrique Arriaga, encourages in a note “the use of public transport as it is a safe and efficient means of travel on dates like these, because they avoid the inconvenience of queuing or searching parking, etc.

Metrotenerife has planned for Christmas Eve that Line 1 will maintain a frequency of 10 minutes and Line 2 of 15 minutes for a large part of the day until the end of both services scheduled for 8:30 p.m., when the last trams will leave the stops located in the ends of both lines, that is, Intercambiador and La Trinidad on Line 1 and La Cuesta and Tíncer on Line 2.

On Sunday 25, Christmas Day, the Tram will resume its activity at 8:00 a.m. with the frequencies of public holidays, 12 minutes for Line 1 and 15 minutes for Line 2, mainly.

These intervals will be applied again on Monday, the 26th, as it is also a holiday.

In the case of Titsa, the short-haul lines will perform their last service between 6:10 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., while the long-haul lines will make their last departure at the time that allows the services to end at approximately 8:15 p.m.

With respect to December 25, the bus service will begin to operate from 08:10 a.m., according to the usual schedule of each line on a holiday.

The schedules of the lines for Christmas Eve are as follows. The 014 and 015 will have the last exit in the direction of La Laguna at 20:01 and 20:20, respectively, while in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife it will be at 19:50 and 20:10.

Line 026 will have the last departure from the capital at 7:45 p.m., while the last trip from La Laguna will be at 7:00 p.m.

In the northern zone, line 101 will have the last departure from La Laguna at 7:40 p.m., while the last trip from La Orotava will be at 7:55 p.m. Lines 102 and 103 will have the last departure from Santa Cruz at 7:55 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. respectively, and from Puerto de la Cruz at 7:35 p.m., 103 and 7:30 p.m., 102.

For its part, line 108 will have the last departure from the capital at 7:00 p.m. and from the Los Realejos junction at the same time.

Regarding the lines that provide service to the south, the 010 will carry out the last service from the Santa Cruz Interchange at 8:10 p.m., while from the South Airport it will be at 8:05 p.m. Line 110 will leave the capital for the last time at 6:45 p.m., and in the opposite direction at 6:55 p.m.

Likewise, the 111 will circulate at 6:55 p.m. from the capital and at 7:25 p.m. from the south.

Line 120 will make its last departure from the capital at 7:50 p.m., while from Güímar it will take place at 8:00 p.m.

Line 122 will leave for the last time at 7:50 p.m. from the Santa Cruz Interchange and at 8:05 p.m. in the return direction. Similarly, line 473 will depart at 6:20 p.m. from Los Cristianos and at 7:20 p.m. from Los Gigantes.

Line 467 will make its last departure from Costa del Silencio at 7:50 p.m.; and from La Caleta at 7:25 p.m. Lines 104, 137, 410, 420 and 711 will not provide service during the night from December 24 to 25.

URBAN SERVICE

The programming for Christmas Eve will also affect urban service lines in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Lines 901, 902, 903, 904, 905, 906, 908, 909, 910, 911, 912, 914, 919, 923, 933, 934, 935, 936, 937, 939, 940, 941, 945 and 946 will carry its last services from the Interchange between 6:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., depending on the route schedule.

Circulars 914, 920 and 921 will make their last departures at 8:15 pm, 8:20 pm and 8:30 pm from the Interchange, respectively. The rest of the lines, 916, 917, 944 and 947, will carry out their usual schedules on weekdays, while the trips on 971, 972 and 974 will not be carried out.

The urban service lines of La Laguna 204, 206, 217, 219, 224, 260, 270 and 271 will end their services in the time slot between 6:55 p.m. and 8:05 p.m., depending on the line. The rest of the routes, 201, 203, 253, 274 and 275 will have trips at their usual schedules on weekdays.
